Loving Unlovely People

I John 3:14

We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love abides in death.

One test to know that we are truly born again is how we love people. Not just the ones who are easy to love, but those who are difficult.

If we are not truly born again we’re walking in darkness. That darkness will only be multiplied after our soul is separated from our body at death. Then, there will be no changing our minds. We will suffer eternally, separated from God in utter darkness.

If you find it’s difficult to love certain people, ask Jesus for His love in order to love those people. It’s amazing how He can do that. It’s like He gives us new eyes to see them with His love. Somehow, they lose their abrasiveness and we find ourselves loving them in spite of ourselves.

Lord Jesus, help me to love those
who rub me the wrong way.
I want to love as You do.
I want to forgive
with Your forgiveness.
I want to walk free
of any and all darkness
and enjoy Your marvelous light.

Jesus' Return

John 14:3

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also,”

In the Jewish custom of Jesus’ day, a young man asked for his love’s hand in marriage. If she agreed, the young man left to prepare a home for them.

When his father inspected the home and deemed it finished, then and only then, could the young man come to claim his bride for their wedding. After their marriage he would take her to the home he had prepared for her.

In the Bible, the true believers, the church, are referred to as the bride of Christ (Ephesians 5:25 and Revelation 21:9 and Revelation 19:4).

Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb of God, has been preparing a place for His bride for 2,000 years. When Father God says it’s ready, Jesus will come for us, His bride.

Are you ready for His return?

Lord Jesus, I pray we will be ready
when You return to receive us unto Yourself.
May we be found to be without spot or wrinkle,
appropriately adorned for You, our Groom.

Jesus-The Only Way

Jesus is the Only Way

Jesus' return

Acts 4:12

“And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

Today, many people run to this philosophy and sit under that guru in search of the truth. They follow a teacher only to find out the teacher twisted the truth for his own gain.

There is only one who holds true salvation. It is Jesus Christ. God gave Him the name that rescues us, saves us, and heals us. Only He lived a sinless life, obeyed the Father even unto suffering, death, and rose again.

Only He ascended into heaven. Only He will come back the same way He left (Acts 1:9-11). Only He has an eternal kingdom prepared for those who yield their life and living to Him.

Do you know Him? If not, ask Him into your heart and life. He is waiting for your invitation.

Lord Jesus, I invite You into every area of my life and living.
Forgive my sin, make me a new creature in You.
Please fill me with Your Holy Spirit
so we might build a relationship together
now and forevermore. Amen.

God's Love

Jesus love

John 6:37
(Jesus said) “All that the Father gives Me shall come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.”

Once we come to Jesus, He will never banish us from God’s family. He will never deprive us of His power and influence in the world. We are His forever and ever.

The enemy might try to tell us differently, but we must remember this. Jesus knows him well. He called him a liar and the father of lies (John 8:44).

Jesus is the true truth. His word in our head always lines up and agrees with what the Bible says. May we weigh each word we hear and square it with God’s word. If it doesn’t match up, we need to disregard it.

Know this. If we have come to Jesus with a sincere heart, He will never let us go.

I praise You Jesus. Your grip is stronger than any other.
Once I belong to You nothing can snatch me out of Your hand.
Thank You for Your truth which can never be diluted or made void.
